Sponsor Your Own Pukka Pony!

Pukka Ponies cares for around 10 horses and ponies at any one time, of all shapes and sizes different ages, breeds and types. Not all of these are ready to move onto new homes straight away, sometimes it takes months or even years for these ponies to be ready for rehome. Sometimes they have medical issues or behavioural problems that mean they cannot be rehomed. We never rush ponies into homes and always take things at the ponies pace. These 3 handsome chaps are all available for sponsorship. Sponsoring will mean you receive special gifts, letters and even party invites from your chosen pony. We appreciate all amounts, every penny helps, and all the money goes to help all the horses and ponies at Pukka Ponies, many of which have extensive vet bills for vital care. Those who sponsor the higher weekly or monthy amount get extra gifts!!! So what are you waiting for? The hardest part is choosing which pony to sponsor... enjoy!

Its all done securely through PayPal, however you don't have to have a PayPal account, just a credit or debit card is fine. Thank you, from all the team at Pukka Ponies xxx

BIG CHARLIE

Big Charlie was signed over to the rescue as his former owner could not give him the care he needs, Charlie has several medical conditions meaning his management is far from normal for a typical Shire horse. He has a condition called PSSM which means he suffers from a loss of muscle mass, its not known what causes this condition and it can only be managed - there is no cure. Charlie also has sweet itch, allergies and skin sensitivity. Charlie lives out in the field with the other rescues and enjoys a perfectly normal life despite having these conditions.

Please sponsor Charlie if you can, for just £10 a month which is approximately 15% of his monthly hard feed cost!

PEANUT

Peanut came to us in 2021, he arrived in very poor condition and at just 6 months old had a very bad start to life. Peanut was taken out of a terrible situation and gifted to us to ensure he never suffered neglect again. At Pukka Ponies we do not re-home boys until they have been castrated, and sometimes there's a bit of a wait until they are mature enough for castration. Peanut is very under developed so it will be some months before he is old enough for castation and even any consideration of rehoming. But until then he's up for sponsor. If he is rehomed and you sponsor him you will be given the option to sponsor another, but we will keep you updated on Peanut's future!

CHOC CHIP

Chip came to us in 2020, he was sadly born "the wrong gender and the wrong colour" and therefore was not wanted, Chip is the most delightful little chap. At Pukka Ponies we do not re-home boys until they have been castrated, and sometimes there's a bit of a wait until they are mature enough for castration. Chip is currently in this stage, once he has been castrated he will be looking for a new home. But until then he's up for sponsor. If he is rehomed and you sponsor him you will be given the option to sponsor another, but we will keep you updated on Chip's future!
